I grew up near the Jersey shore and now write and live in South Carolina. I loved college more than high school, but tend to write about the daily trials of surviving those four pre-university years.

I never considered myself a poet before writing this blog, but the response to my poetry has been overwhelming to me. Really, I’m just putting my feelings down in words (and metaphors — I sure do love metaphors).
If you came for the poetry and liked it, check out my poetry ebook I published on smashwords. Enjoy!

Read two original short stories I wrote that were published online:

Playing the Game

Hot Heat

If you like the short stories, find more in my ebook: High School Stories (also published on smashwords). Check out my posts for ways to get free copies of these, or just comment that you’d like one. That usually does the trick. Happy reading!
